Album Photoshoot (Part 3) with Jane & CY Wong@ REAL PIXEL STUDIO
At last, the whole "DiversiFy" Album has began to take into shape with the touch of REAL PIXEL Studios by photographer maestro CY Wong.
It was a 7 hour shoot straight and the results is just very much worth every second of the click of the camera. Thank you to all who made the effort for this one of a kind experience photoshoot. Its probably the first ever photoshoot which is so relevant with my music and feel, and i feel so at home. I always believe that a photograph could tell a million words, same goes to a song...it has different interpretation depending on who is experiencing it.=)
Here's the making............
Preparation for the shoot.
Hair Style by A Cut Above..Thanks Winnie=)
The Maestro CY Wong...=)
Assistant Stylist, Allien & Me.
Caught in Between 2 of the most talented people..So Jane asked:" Whose the girlfriend who got ya that shirt ar?" *winks*
Examining the pictures taken.....
A Leap into the next level!
The more formal shoot...
Dennis Lau & CY Wong
Allien, Dennis & CY Wong
Delvin, Dennis & CY Wong

Due to the confidentiality of the pictures, I'm only allowed to give ya a Sneak Peak of the shoot...these are just the very basic ones..... *winks*

Passion + Determination= ???
Special Thanks to ICON Mag 2009 for this Special feature. Much Appreciation to CY Wong, Jane Wong, Lee Khim=)
I was in a talk today in the Annual Youth Convention@ PWTC earlier this evening (Thanks to Joanne, Melissa & Joel for the invitation) and was very much driven by the topics of inspiring youths, dreams, passion, etc.
Sharing the stage with, is my buddy Yuri Wong, Azura, Sarah Lian, etc and we did had a good time sharing with the audience, ppl our thoughts about the industry especially the entertainment industry. and as for me, it would be more of my musical journey where you get to read about it if you have been following my blog=)
Being a musician is not all about just being an entertainer on stage, but also purely driven by passion. I believe that in whatever you do be it, being a chef, musician, actor, lawyer, doctor, marketing person, you gotta have passion to take you far. Passion is not a thing which you can see, hold, grip but however is a combination of mental strength, happiness, the ability to LEARN & look forward, optimism, positive thinking, and of cos sheer guts. These combination of elements however do not determine your success but if you combine this with your Determination to achieve it, nothing is impossible=)
Thats a motto i always believe in and am still pursuing it....
Despite having passion & determination in pursue of your goals, Staying Focus on the right track is also important. Because we as humans, are influenced by the daily routine we do from the ppl u meet, the criticisms that hit you, the advice of ppl around. However, you as the creator/ founder/ product must never give up hope on the dream you wanna achieve.
If you do something with pure passion, the results would be much rewarding then you do something because you have to.
Agree?=)
Thanks

"Cooking Up A Storm" by Dennis Lau & Yuri Wong- The Making (Draft 1)
- Cooking Up A Storm -
=)
Despite our busy schedules off performing for me, and as for Yuri, being a prolific producer/ engineer in the studio..we still enjoyed taking time off in creating new/ original sounds and beats as we both shared the same passion- MUSIC!
Here's something we have been working on and is still in the process- "Cooking Up A Storm" which we actually came up the "Hook" of the song in an interview 2 months back in TELL Mag Studios. Our article is featured in last month's Tell Mag....Thanks to Adam Lee frm TELL, Cheers Mate!
See, inspiration could be from anywhere, frm the ppl you meet daily, the relationship we experienced, musicians you listen to, and even in an interview!
*Sneak Preview*
P/S: Catch Me & Yuri performing our Original New Stuffs LIVE along with Jimmy Sax and the rest of the members- E Jeng, Billy, Ken Chung, Sudin in a whole new/ different showcase@ Bangkok Jazz, Jan 23rd & 24th. 10pm!
Thanks
Peace- Good Music, Better Place
God Bless!
